About The Academy

We are a public, PreK-12 school of choice located in Westminster, Colorado. We pair a rigorous, content-rich curriculum with charter education to help our students achieve the highest standards in academics. Our school has over 1,800 students who have engaged and passionate parents. We have been a charter school for over 20 years. At The Academy, all of our students are known, valued, and challenged to be their best.

Parents & Students

Every student's success is rooted in support from home. The Academy recognizes this fact as the staff and administration look to help continue students' excellence from our parents and family members. As a result, we welcome parent engagement in multiple facets of our school. The academic, athletic, theatric, and community programs continually strive for and reach excellence because of the support the school receives from you, the parent.

Late Start

While the school is on hybrid remote learning, Late-start Tuesday’s will be put on hold until such time as we return to a normal schedule.

LATE START

The Academy observes late-start every Tuesday morning. Each Tuesday morning teachers spend 90 minutes in professional development workshops extending their learning and improving their skills.

Tuesday Hours

North Campus 9:00 am - 2:55 pm

Drop-off before 8:45 am - students can enter through the cafetorium doors.

Drop-off between 8:45 - 9:00 am - students will enter through the side cafetorium doors.

PK (AM) 9:00 am – 10:45 am

PK (PM) 9:00 am – 2:55 pm

Note - You will be able to drop your student off at 7 am for Cub Care

Half Day Kindergarten 9:00 am – 12:25 pm

Main Elementary 9:20 am - 3:15 pm

Drop-off between 7 - 9 am - students should enter through the cafeteria by the east entrance.

Drop-off between 9 - 9:20 am - students can enter through the elementary doors by the west entrance.

Secondary 9:35 am - 3:30 pm

Drop-off between 7-9:15 am - students enter through the doors to the JH Gym.

Drop-off between 9:15 - 9:35 am - students can enter through the main door on the west side or secondary door on the east side.
