All reports of discrimination or harassment will be investigated. Consequences where warranted may include but are not limited to a range of disciplinary action, which may include expulsion from school if warranted. Depending on age and circumstances, educational interventions, rather than, or in addition to, discipline shall be appropriate. Support resources will also be provided to victims of school-related discrimination or harassment as appropriate. Anyone who retaliates against a person who reports harassment, regardless of the outcome of the harassment investigation, will be subject to disciplinary action. Any person who knowingly makes a false report of harassment shall be subject to disciplinary action as well.
This notice is provided as required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation act of 1973, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
